Welcome to our Chapter

Chapter 445 is a not-for-profit organization promoting general aviation growth and safety in Tallahassee and the surrounding area through aviation oriented youth programs, public outreach, and member education. Chapter 445 is a truly volunteer organization with no paid officers or staff.

In 2011 Chapter 445 was the recipient of the Young Eagles Horizon Award, an award given annually by EAA recognizing one chapter or business whose efforts go beyond the basic Young Eagles flight.  

If you fly, would like to fly, build a plane, or just have an interest in aviation join us the second Tuesday of each month in the Compass Pointe Room at the north ramp of Tallahassee Regional Airport (3240 Capital Circle SW). Visitors are always welcome!

Tuesday December 13 Party Time! Our annual holiday get together will be at the Flying Bear Restaurant on north Thomasville Rd in Tallahassee. Arrive by 6:30 pm. Details coming via email.

It's always fun at Quincy Municipal

 

During our November meeting at Quincy Municipal Airport member Richard Hamilton, our resident A/P wizard, explains the updating of an 0-320 Lycoming engine that will end up powering his Tri Pacer .
